The Longest drive ever...

the Harvest teams goes on the road to check out Nova Scotia.

I have 6000 songs on my ipod, and I've listened to all them and then some. I can tell you everything you'll ever want to know about the inside of a white sprinter van. I also can recite the dialogue from step brothers back to front. These are a few of things that you tend to do when you spend 17 hours a day driving from Santa Barbara California to Nova Scotia and back. I don't care that we ingested more subway and taco bell than is safe or remotely healthy, or that I spent more time online than employee at google. We viewed America in a way that few people do anymore, from the backseat of car.

In case your wondering what I'm ranting on about, I'll fill you in. I along with Noah Yap, Jim Brewer, and Peter Trow decided to cap off the movie we are working on with a road/surf trip Nova Scotia. With a few pit stops along the way to paddle and hang out in some scenic places It ended up a little more than we bargained for I think, but it was still worth every dull moment. It was an opportunity that doesn't come around that often to go on a road trip like this, and everyone was happy to jump in for the drive. We scored some great waves in one of the more remote places in North America, met some amazing people, and paddling in some exceptionally beautiful places. We all came to the conclusion that Nova Scotia has more potential than any other surf zone, except for maybe Iceland.

At the moment we are in North Dakota, and nearing Montana to hopefully do some river surfing and paddle some lakes. After that its a straight shot to San Francisco and then home sweet home. By the time anybody reads this we'll all be home, except for maybe Noah cause the poor guy has to fly back to hawaii after this whole ordeal. It's one of the coolest and different trips I've ever been apart of, and it was a pretty great accomplishment to do all of this in 2 weeks.

After this trip I'll be able to finally spend some time at home to hangout and surf, and then its off to hawaii to go surf with the big boys. I hope this was entertaining, and until next time…

Cheers,
