Everything. The ocean purifies my soul.
Why is it important for us all to protect the oceans?
The ocean covers 70% of our planet. It provides us with recreation, resources, transportation, and relaxation. It plays a vital role in everything including our weather, our diet, and our souls. Without the ocean life wouldn't exist.
What is going thru your mind as your pulling into a fat barrel on your stand up board?

Who did you look up to as a kid?
My Dad.
What kind of music is on your iPod?
All types. Steel Pulse, The Slider. Ice Cube, Ska Daddyz, Agression.

Cheesecake Restaurant.

G-Land.

Fridays.
What goals have you set for yourself for next year?
To be the best father I can be.
What does your training regiment look like?
4.5 miles a day on the SUP and 500 sit ups a night.
Was your family into your sport before you?
No.
What is the scariest thing you have done?
A snowboard cornice drop into a 3000 foot descent with the Vans team.
What is your favorite toy besides your surfboard?
My saxophone.
If you could be any superhero which one would it be and why?
Superman so I could fly around the world to check the surf.
What words of encouragement would you give to a kid?
Make your parents proud and never ever give up.
What's the smartest thing you have ever done?
Getting a degree in computer architecture.

What's one thing that could make the world a better place?
No more cigarettes! Not only do they kill you but the butts never go away and are polluting our beaches.
What do you love about Stand Up Paddling?
Stand up Paddling Gives me a natural high and makes me feel healthy. Its a great way to get outside, exercise and the views are always amazing on the SUP.
